Ronald W. (Ron) Kirchenbauer is senior vice president, Human Resources, at Rockwell Collins. Additionally, he is a corporate officer of Rockwell Collins. Kirchenbauer is responsible for global human resources including Compensation and Benefits, Organization Development and Training, Employee and Labor Relations, Human Resources Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources Delivery and Lean, Regional Human Resources and Security. Kirchenbauer was named to the position in April 2003.
Kirchenbauer has extensive senior leadership experience in corporate human resources, which includes more than 25 years in the human resources field including significant international experience. He comes to Rockwell Collins from Cadence Design Systems Inc., San Jose, Calif., where he served as senior vice president, Employee and Workplace Services with direct responsibility for Human Resources, Cadence University, Information Technology, Real Estate & Facilities, Safety & Security, and Communications. Previously, he served in senior human resources leadership positions for Ericsson Inc., DSC Communications Corp., Varo Corp. and Texas Instruments Inc.
Kirchenbauer is a native of Dallas, Tex. and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from Tarleton State University.
