Glen T. Dodson

Glen T. (Tommy) Dodson is vice president and general manager of Cabin Systems at Rockwell Collins. He is responsible for leading and directing the cabin information management systems offerings for the business aviation and air transport markets.

Dodson, who joined the company in 1978, has been associated with the in-flight entertainment business since its acquisition by Rockwell Collins. Most recently he was vice president and general manager of Passenger Systems, responsible for Rockwell Collins in-flight entertainment offerings for air transport aircraft.

Dodson formerly served as business development director for the company's Communication Systems Division (CSD), a leading supplier of communication systems and related services to the U.S. Department of Defense and more than 27 other countries worldwide. He also served as director of satellite communications and information systems for CSD.

In 1994, Dodson was named program manager for Rockwell Collins' Secure Mobile Anti-jam Reliable Tactical Terminal program.

Dodson has held a variety of positions in the finance and contracting fields, including Manager, Financial Planning/GFA, from 1992 to 1994, and Manager, Contracts and Proposals, from 1989 to 1990.

Dodson received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of North Texas and a Master of Business Administration degree from Abilene Christian University.

Dodson currently serves on the Board of Directors for Independent Colleges of Southern California and the Mt. Baldy Chapter of the United Way. In addition, he serves on the Presidents Advisory Committee for the Harvey Mudd College of Engineering, one of the Claremont Colleges.
