Rockwell Collins Sweden was formed with the acquisition of DataPath Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, SWE-DISH Satellite
Systems AB, in 2009.
Rockwell Collins Sweden develops and markets mobile satellite communications equipment and related services for broadband
applications. The in-house development department continually adapts and improves technology to meet customer requirements
and creates innovative concepts such as CCT -CommuniCase® Technology. CCT's flexibility enables military personnel, broadcasters
and emergency first responders to easily interchange components in the field to establish a new system configuration.
The facility, located in Stockholm, provides major broadcasters, armed forces, disaster relief organizations and many others
with compact, quick-to-air and cost effective satellite terminals for live transmission of video, data, Internet and voice
content from anywhere in the world.
The customer base includes broadcasters such as CNN, ABC and BBC, disaster relief organizations and military organizations
such as the United Nations, NATO, Danish Defense, the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) and the U.S. Department
of Defense.
