Phil Jasper, Dave Nieuwsma appointed to new leadership roles at Rockwell Collins
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (July 19, 2010) - Phil Jasper has been named vice president of business development for Rockwell Collins Government Systems, while Dave Nieuwsma
takes over Jasper's former position as vice president and general manager of Mobility and Rotary Wing Solutions for Rockwell
Collins.
In his new position, Jasper will lead the marketing and sales organization for Government Systems. He joined Rockwell Collins
in 1992 and has held various engineering and management positions. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science
degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from Iowa State University.
In his new role, Nieuwsma has responsibility for Government Systems' fixed and rotary wing solutions for a variety of defense
plaforms.
Nieuwsma has been with Rockwell Collins since 1991 and most recently held the position of Senior Director of Tanker/Transport
Solutions. Nieuwsma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy, a Bachelor
of Science degree in Computer Science from Chapman College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University
of Iowa.
